Consistent and Determined Pace with Strategic Improvements Isela Vigueras demonstrated a steady performance in the 2025 Phoenix Marathon 10K event. She completed the race with an overall time of 1:03:58 and an average pace of 10:19 min/mile. Notably, Isela showed significant improvement after starting at a 10:58 min/mile pace, eventually pushing her pace to as low as 9:35 min/mile, showcasing a well-adapted mid-race strategy. Her commendable adaptation in pace allowed her to finish among the top 30% in her division, 46th out of the F30-34 age group. Starting strong in the initial miles, Isela climbed up the ranks, moving from 63rd to 46th in her division by the end. Her most impressive split improvement was between miles 1 and 2, where she surged forward with a split pace adjustment from 10:58 to 9:36 min/mile.
