Strong Finish in Second Half Elevates Performance Kurt Albo demonstrated a consistent pace throughout the 2025 Phoenix Marathon's half marathon event with an overall elapsed time of 2:21:00, averaging a pace of 10:45 min/mile. Of 2,723 participants, Kurt placed 1,482 overall, 828 among males, and 148 in the M30-34 division. Analyzing the splits, Kurt maintained a steady rhythm with initial miles slightly above 11 min/mile and showed progress with a significant improvement toward the end of the race. Notably, between miles 11 and 13, Kurt picked up the pace, achieving his fastest mile at mile 13 with a split of 9:23 min/mile. This finishing kick helped Kurt advance in his overall standing, especially across his division.
