Steady Progress with Potential for Further Refinement Annie Nguyen demonstrated a consistent start, starting with an initial pace of 11:31 min/mile and improving to 10:23 min/mile by mile 3. Her overall pacing showed promising gains in the first half of the race, as evidenced by her moving up from 1794th to 1652nd place by the third mile. Her strongest split was between miles 2 and 3, with a split pace improvement of over a minute. However, by mile 6, there was a noticeable deviation in her pace, culminating in split times of 13:59 min/mile by mile 9. The final results show a completion time of 2:39:46 with a consistent pace, ranking her 162nd in her division for females aged 25-29 out of 2723 participants. Focusing on maintaining the pacing improvements seen early could be beneficial for even better results in future events. Nevertheless, her resilience and consistency are commendable, as indicated by her steady finish in the Phoenix Marathon.
