Consistent Pace Secures Strong Divisional Finish During the 2025 Phoenix Marathon Half Marathon event, Paola Teran demonstrated a steady pace across the 13.1-mile race. She completed the event with an official time of 1:57:35, maintaining an average pace of 8:58 min/mile. Notably, she consistently improved her position, demonstrating an upward trajectory from the 874th overall position at the start to finishing 668th out of 2723 participants. Her performance in the F45-49 division was also commendable, moving steadily from 26th place early in the race to finish in the 20th position. Paola's performance showed significant improvement in her pace during the middle of the race, especially between miles 5 and 6, where she briefly elevated her position to 9th in her division. Although there was a noticeable deceleration after mile 10, her overall race strategy ensured a strong finish. Concentrating on sustaining that middle-race momentum would enhance her overall performance in future races. Her dedication and focused effort are evident throughout her participation in this event.
