Consistent Performance Despite Late Fatigue Jennifer Lozano delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Phoenix Marathon, clocking a total time of 3:43:33 and averaging an 8:31 min/mile pace over the course of the marathon. A notable highlight was her strong start, as she maintained a consistent sub-8:10 min/mile pace over the first half. Starting in 5th place in her division by mile 1, Jennifer showed excellent pacing by regaining position through miles 6 and 10, demonstrating impressive speed with mile 5 being her fastest at 7:50. However, a noticeable slowdown occurred in the later stages, with splits falling below 9 minutes in the final three miles, suggesting some fatigue. Despite this, Jennifer managed to finish in the top 8 of her age division, out of a total field of 2712 participants. Improving endurance at the latter stages of the race could further enhance her performance. Her consistent pacing early on is commendable and positions her well for future races.
