Consistent Improvement Across Splits Daniela started the race with a conservative pace of 10:53 min/mile in the first mile, ranking 1572nd overall. Her performance improved steadily over the first half of the race, most notably in the third mile where she accelerated to a 9:10 min/mile pace, climbing to 1232nd overall. By the halfway point at six miles, Daniela was running at a pace of 10:48 min/mile, placing her 1077th overall. This was a good adjustment after a consistent pace climb in earlier stages. In the latter half of the race, Daniela maintained a pace close to 9:50 min/mile. Her final time for the half marathon was 2:08:58, an admirable performance placing her 1061st overall out of 2723 participants. She consistently held a solid position within her division, finishing 32nd out of her peers. Focus could be placed on sustaining speed from miles five to seven and improving consistency in the latter splits to push overall placement further.
