Consistent Finish with Impressive Final Split Saimah Aslam completed the 2025 Phoenix Marathon 10K with an overall time of 1:44:37 and an average pace of 16:52 min/mile. Notably, the final mile was her fastest, clocking in at 15:50 min/mile. This resulted in a significant improvement in her placement, finishing 294th overall for that segment, which is an excellent performance compared to her other splits. Reviewing her pacing strategy, Saimah maintained consistent splits throughout most of the race. However, the fifth mile slowed to a split pace of 19:25 min/mile. Focusing on sustained energy and even pacing throughout each mile could lead to more consistent overall results. As part of the BFT South Tempe team, there is potential for teamwork to inspire future race improvements. Keep building on this performance, especially considering the strong finish demonstrated in the final mile.
