Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Amy maintained a steady pace during the 2025 Phoenix Marathon, showing gradual improvement in her splits. She started with a 12:17 min/mile pace for the first mile and improved to 11:48 in the second mile. Amy continued this trend, reaching her fastest pace of 10:38 during the final mile. Her overall pace settled at 12:09 min/mile, a testament to her consistent performance. In her division, F35-39, Amy steadily climbed from 66th in the first mile to 58th by the end of the race. Overall, she advanced from 981st to 922nd out of 1,840 participants, reflecting her competitive strengths. Amy's progression was most notable from the fourth to fifth mile where her pace briefly dropped but she recovered strongly in the final stretch. A little attention on mile four could lead to even better results. Continue to strengthen those final miles, as the improvement was evident and promising for future races.
