Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Scott Gulledge delivered a noteworthy performance at the 2025 Phoenix Marathon Half Marathon event. His initial pace was consistent with splits for the first five miles all around the 10:30 min/mile range. Notably, Scott improved his division placement during the early miles moving from 88th to 78th place in his M40-44 age group by the fifth mile, showcasing his competitive edge. The latter part of the race resulted in a slight increase in pacing times, reaching a high of 13:02 min/mile at mile seven. Despite this, he finished the race with a solid push, reducing his pace to a consistent 11:08 min/mile by the end. Overall, Scott placed 93rd in his division and 1597th among a total of 2723 participants. Working on maintaining an even pace in the middle segments of the race could enhance performance consistency in future events. Keep up the good work, Scott!
