Consistent Splits, Strong Finish in Phoenix Lupita Romero showed impressive consistency throughout the 2025 Phoenix Marathon Half Marathon. Starting with a solid 9:41 opening mile, she maintained a steady pace around 10 min/mile for most of the race. Notably, she hit her fastest split at mile 4, clocking a 9:33. Her overall pace settled at 10:14 min/mile, showcasing an ability to keep her speed stable over the challenging course. Interestingly, the split at mile 6 had significant improvement, placing her 8th in the F55-59 division. However, the pace slightly slowed towards the end, with an 11:56 split at mile 11.
