Consistent Middle Splits and a Strong Finish Emily Liu showcased a steady performance in the 2025 Phoenix Marathon 10K, maintaining a consistent average pace of 10:02 min/mile. She completed the course in 1:02:12, with all but one mile under 10:20 min/mile. Her splits alternated between strong middle segments with a slight deviation at mile 5, which saw a pace of 11:19 min/mile. Notably, Emily's quickest split was her final mile, clocking in at 9:28 min/mile, which signifies a commendable push to finish strong. Emily placed 35th in her F25-29 age division and 187th among female participants in a competitive field of 1840 runners. Despite fluctuating positions, her placements in miles 3 and 4 were steady, improving her ranking to 31 and 33, respectively, within her division.
