Consistent Pacing with a Strong Start Bailey Leggo maintained an impressive initial pace in the 2025 Phoenix Half Marathon. Starting with a 9:23 min/mile pace at the first mile, Bailey progressively quickened to a remarkable 8:30 min/mile by mile 3. Notably, her placement significantly improved early in the race, moving from 826th to 724th overall by mile 3. This demonstrates a strong ability to maintain and increase momentum over shorter distances early on. As performance metrics indicate, Bailey climbed to places in her division from 48th to 39th within those early miles, showcasing a strategic start.
