Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Christopher Moran from Phoenix delivered an impressive performance in the 2025 Phoenix Marathon 10K. Pacing steadily, he managed to significantly improve from 92nd overall at the first mile to maintaining around 81st place for the middle segments. His pacing was consistent with an average pace of 7:45 min/mile, concluding the race at 85th place overall and securing 9th in his division M35-39. Christopher's performance showed a commendable start with his first mile at 7:57 min/mile, and he was able to accelerate with a blend of determination and endurance. Notably, he gained a spot in overall placement in the segments up to the fourth mile. Despite a slower split in mile five at 8:47 min/mile, his subsequent mile improved to 7:26 min/mile, demonstrating effective energy management.
