Steady Improvement with a Final Push Madhu Reddy Ponthati delivered a consistent performance in the 2025 Phoenix Marathon 10K. He managed to maintain a relatively steady pace throughout the race, with gradual improvements in placement over time. Starting with an initial split pace of 12:49 min/mile, he improved his pace to 11:17 min/mile by the second split, recovering almost 50 positions in the overall ranking. Although his pace varied, such as a slower fifth split pace of 14:09 min/mile, Madhu showed great resilience by achieving a significant improvement on the final stretch. The standout moment was the last mile where Madhu leapt to 17th overall, finishing the race with an overall time of 1:16:26 and an average pace of 12:19 min/mile. His strongest finish is reflected in his final mile split time of 12:25. Encouragingly, Madhu concluded as the second in his age division for the final mile. Keep up the strong finishes, Madhu!
