Consistent Splits with a Strong Finish Paul Sun demonstrated steady pacing during the 2025 Phoenix Marathon Half Marathon. Beginning with a strong first mile of 9:08, his pace remained under 10 minutes per mile for the first four miles. However, a slight decline in speed was observed from miles five to ten, where his times ranged from 10:07 to 11:34 per mile. Despite these slower segments, Paul maintained a consistent effort throughout the race, ending with an overall pace of 10:49 min/mile for the 13.1-mile event. Notably, Paul showed a commendable final surge with a strong finish in mile 13, clocking in an impressive time of 11:32, positioning 27th in the M35-39 age division for that mile. His final overall time was 2:21:47, placing him 425th overall in the race's final mile. Continued focus on endurance and pacing strategy in the latter stages can enhance future performances.
