Consistent Performance with a Strong Final Push Amanda Young completed the 2025 Phoenix Marathon Half Marathon with an official time of 1:46:56, maintaining a steady pace of 8:09 min/mile. Throughout the race, her performance displayed consistency with slight fluctuations. Notably, she started strong with an 8:02 min/mile in the first mile, then experienced minor shifts but held an average pace close to her finishing pace. Her third mile split was a swift 7:37 min/mile, showcasing her ability to push the pace effectively when needed. Amanda's finish was remarkable, moving her position from 305 overall to 37 in the last split, and securing 2nd place in her division. She completed the race as the 15th in her female age group (F35-39) out of 102 participants. For future races, maintaining the increased pace she achieved in mile 3 and again at the end could benefit her overall race performance. Excellent display of endurance and strategy!
