Strong Start with Mid-Race Momentum Megan effectively managed her pace in the 2025 Phoenix Marathon's Half Marathon, showing impressive initial adaptability. She started with a 9:31 min/mile pace but soon accelerated, maintaining sub-8:30 paces for most of the early sections. Her split times improved significantly, especially between miles 5 and 10 where she held a pace of close to or better than 8:00 min/mile. Notable is her performance at mile 10 with a split pace of 7:47 min/mile, elevating her position in the overall race standings. Although the final quarter of the race showed a deceleration, it's worth considering tactical pacing strategies during longer runs. Particularly, the drop in pace at mile 12 to 14:51 min/mile deserves some reflection for future races. However, Megan's overall finish time of 1:43:41 and securing the 15th place in her division are commendable achievements, reflecting her competitive spirit and potential. Her membership with "Your Pace, Your Peace" could further enhance her racing skills.
