Consistent Effort Shines in Competitive Field Janet maintained a steady performance throughout the 10K, displaying a commendable effort as part of her team, PCL Industrial Services. Starting strong, her second mile was the fastest at 12:57 min/mile, which was an impressive improvement from the initial 13:31 min/mile. She demonstrated perseverance with splits ranging from 13:31 to 15:26 min/mile. Her splits indicate consistency, particularly noticeable as she climbed from 1159th overall to hovering around 1100th in subsequent miles before concluding at 1220th place. Despite the pace opening up slightly in the latter half, maintaining around the 13 to 15 min/mile range, finishing with an elapsed pace of 14:32 min/mile reflects a solid effort. Standing 35th in her F55-59 division is an achievement worth noting. Strategically working on maintaining the early race pace in later miles could further improve her performance in future events. Great teamwork and competitive spirit were clearly demonstrated.
