Consistent Pacing with Strong Mid-Race Performance Ana McCarty from Acondale, AZ, who runs for the sPace Cadets, completed the 2025 Phoenix Marathon 10K in a time of 1:15:06, averaging a pace of 12:06 min/mile. Ana's strategy showed consistency and an impressive push in the middle stages. Notably, her second split improved to 11:35 min/mile from the initial 12:15 min/mile, resulting in her climbing from 976th to 908th place overall. Consistent pacing continued, showing a determined effort, with her best pace at Split 4, clocking 11:26 min/mile. Ana's performance reveals potential areas to focus on in the latter stages. The fifth split saw a slowing to 14:24 min/mile, which affected her place slightly, ranking 917th overall in a field of 1840. Encouragingly, she rebounded to 11:33 min/mile in the final split.
