Smooth Finish With Exceptional Closing Pace Marlee Bigsby maintained a consistent pace through most of the race, showing a strong start with a 12:28 min/mile pace for the first mile. The first half of the race was steady with her splits gradually increasing, slightly peaking at mile 5 with a 14:16 split time. Despite this, her overall pace was a solid 12:43 min/mile over the 10K run. A noteworthy performance occurred in the last mile, where she greatly improved her pace to 12:11 min/milethe fastest split of her race. This remarkable closing performance allowed her to significantly enhance her standing, placing 30th overall in that segment.
