Consistent Effort and Positive Splits in Half Marathon Jennifer Rivas maintained a steady pace throughout the 2025 Phoenix Marathon, completing the half marathon with an overall time of 2:18:00. Starting with a pace of 11:00 min/mile, Jennifer managed a consistent improvement, especially notable at the 9th and final mile, with her best splits of 9:38 and 9:42 min/mile. Overall, her average pace was 10:32 min/mile. Jennifer's performance showed consistent pacing, moving from 1626th place overall at the first mile to 1369th by the end. In her division, Female 40-44, Jennifer demonstrated a positive upward trajectory, improving from 98th at mile one to 71st at the race's conclusion. Notably, Jennifer's performance improved over the second half of the race, indicating a well-managed strategy. For future races, maintaining the successful pacing strategy and potentially working on refining the early miles could help sustain energy for an even faster strong finish.
