Starting strong with an 8:38 min/mile pace for the first mile, Amber's pace slightly adjusted over the distance but remained steady throughout the race. Her finishing time was 1:00:19, with an overall pace of 9:43 min/mile. Notably, her quickest split was the first mile, clocking in at 8:38. Despite some slowdown in Mile 4, which extended to a 10:01 min/mile, she regained momentum and lowered her pace to 9:17 min/mile in the last mile. Amber's pacing strategy in the beginning helped secure strong placements, being 11th in her F25-29 age division initially, and finishing 29th.
