Strong Mid-Race Push Leads to Consistent Finish Nithiskandha Nagappan showcased a noteworthy performance at the 2025 Phoenix Marathon 10K, finishing with a time of 57:38. Representing Team Amex Desert Ridge, Nithiskandha maintained a consistent pace, averaging 9:17 min/mile across the 6.2-mile course. He demonstrated strong pacing through the early and middle sections, especially noticeable with a swift 8:02 final mile. The most strategic race movement was noted between miles 5 and 6, with his position improving considerably. His ability to recover toward the final stages contributed to his placement, coming in 300th overall and 9th in the M15-18 division out of 1,840 participants. Analyzing the fifth split, where the pace slightly dipped to 11:10, focusing on maintaining even pacing throughout could enhance future performances. Despite the variance in the fifth mile, Nithiskandha showed excellent effort, particularly excelling in the closing mile.
