Consistent Pacing with Early Gains Ricky Hintze delivered a solid performance during the 2025 Phoenix Marathon Half Marathon, representing the Cardiac Solutions team. He completed the race in 2:23:01, with an average pace of 10:55 min/mile. Despite placing 1533rd overall, Ricky showed impressive consistency in his pacing, particularly in the early stages. Notably, miles three and four showcased strong efforts, with splits of 8:58 min/mile and 8:47 min/mile respectively, which boosted his position significantly. While Ricky demonstrated strength in early miles, there was a noticeable slowdown in the latter part of the race. Mile ten presented a challenge with a split pace of 13:46 min/mile. Focusing on maintaining a steady pace throughout the race could further enhance performance. With the displayed capabilities in earlier miles, optimizing strategies for middle and later segments of the race could bring improvements. Keep building on those strong early miles, Ricky!
