Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Murong He delivered a steady performance in the 2025 Phoenix Marathon 10K. Starting with a solid first mile at a 12:03 min/mile pace, she managed to accelerate steadily to an 11:47 pace by the second mile. This increase in pace moved her up in rankings, showing an improvement in overall placement from 930 to 890 and her divisional rank from 93 to 89. While the fifth mile showed a slight slowdown with a 14:08 pace, she quickly regained her momentum. Her final mile was her fastest at 10:56 min/mile and improved overall placement to 913 and division placement to 90th. Maintaining a consistent effort throughout with an overall pace of 12:05 min/mile, Murong completed the race in 1:14:57. Focus on maintaining consistency and endurance in mid-race could further enhance performance in future events. Overall, a commendable effort.
