Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Heidi Edmonson completed the 2025 Phoenix Marathon Half Marathon with a solid time of 2:40:33, maintaining an overall average pace of 12:15 min/mile. Heidi's pacing exhibited notable stability, with most mile splits closely aligning with her average pace. Particularly impressive was her performance from mile 1 to mile 10, where she managed to keep her split pace consistently in the range of 11:42 to 12:42 min/mile. Her strongest mile was mile 10, finishing with a 11:42 min/mile pace, which showcases her endurance and strength late in the race. While the 11th mile was slower at 13:46 min/mile, this was promptly followed by a return to form with quicker paces thereafter. Finishing 60th in her division demonstrates a commendable effort in the F50-54 category. Focusing on maintaining the momentum seen in her faster splits could further enhance her performance in future races. Great job representing The Nyquist Freqs!
