Consistent Pacing with Strategic Improvements Krishna Vittala participated in the 2025 Phoenix Marathon, running a total distance of 13.1 miles in 3:17:08, with an average pace of 15:02 min/mile. Notable improvements were seen in the second and fifth miles, where he achieved a split pace of 12:49 and 12:48 min/mile, respectively. These faster splits suggest effective pacing strategies in earlier and mid portions of the race. While Krishna consistently maintained a strong performance throughout, slight deceleration was observed starting from mile four, with the longest split at mile 11, where the pace slowed to 18:42 min/mile. Focusing on maintaining energy in the latter part of the race and perhaps working on endurance for maintaining pace beyond the initial phases could be beneficial in future races.
