Masterful Final Push April Hopkins completed the 10K at the 2025 Phoenix Marathon with a total elapsed time of 1:37:05, averaging a pace of 15:39 min/mile. Initially starting with consistent pacing, April saw her pace shift between the 4th and 5th miles, culminating in a faster finish by significantly improving her pace in the final split. This improvement took her to a remarkable 17th place in her division during the last mile, contrasting her 46th place position prior. April's race demonstrated her ability to maintain consistency and push forward in the final portion of the race, securing a significant move up in division placing at the finish. Continuing to focus on maintaining that energy and speed throughout the race could place her even higher in results. Her affiliation with PCL Industrial Services promises good support for future events. Excellent effort from Gilberts own!
