Consistent pacing and strong division finish Tracy Bone from Bethesda, MD delivered a well-paced performance with a finish time of 2:26:19 at the 2025 Phoenix Marathon Half Marathon. Maintaining an average pace of 11:10 min/mile, Tracy effectively progressed through the race. Notably, she ranked 7th in the F65-69 division, showcasing strong competitiveness within her age group, out of a total of 2723 participants. Analyzing Tracy's splits reveals a positive trend in pacing consistency. After starting the race with an 11:37 min/mile pace, she progressively accelerated to a peak pace of 10:11 min/mile by the 4th mile. The latter half saw some variation, notably miles 10 through 13, where slower paces were recorded. Moving forward, a focus on maintaining speed in the final miles could prove beneficial, particularly given the noticeable slowdown in those segments.
