Consistent Pacing and a Solid Finish Allan Cifuentes from Tempe, AZ participating in the 2025 Phoenix Marathon displayed consistent pacing throughout the 10K event. Impressively, Allan maintained a pace just above the 10-minute mark for the majority of the race, only slightly slowing down at the fifth mile with a 12:03 split. Despite this, he swiftly managed to regain his pace in the final mile, completing it in 10:00. Overall, Allan completed the race in 1:04:16, with an average pace of 10:21 min/mile. He achieved 57th place in the M35-39 division, competing against a total of 1840 participants. While maintaining a stable pace was a strong point, addressing the pace drop at mile five could be beneficial for future races. It's encouraging to see Allan maintain his position roughly throughout, finishing with only a minor place shift, showcasing strong endurance and resilience.
