Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Casmir Anyanwu maintained a consistent pace throughout the 2025 Phoenix Marathon half marathon, showcasing a promising start. His fastest split was at mile 3 with a pace of 9:30 min/mile, demonstrating an early push that kept him competitive. Splits from miles 1 to 5 ranged from 9:30 to 10:17 min/mile, indicating steady endurance and pacing skills. Despite some slowing, particularly at mile 10 with an 11:45 min/mile split, Casmir persevered through the event with determination. A notable highlight was the performance in the final stretch, where Casmir improved his standing significantly. In the last mile, despite the slowing pace to 18:27 min/mile, Casmir impressively finished strong by climbing to 458th overall and 27th in his division.
