Consistent Start, Gradual Slowdown Edly Reyes maintained a consistent pace through the first half of the race, with his fastest split occurring between Mile 2 and 3 at a pace of 9:21 min/mile. Initially, Edly gained a better position, moving up 20 places overall by Mile 2. However, his pace began to slow after Mile 5, where he completed at 10:00 min/mile, indicating a gradual decline as the race progressed. In the second half, a visible slowdown was noted, particularly between Mile 11 and Mile 12, where he clocked his slowest split at 12:30 min/mile. Despite these challenges, his overall time for the 2025 Phoenix Marathon was 2:15:06, with an average pace of 10:18 min/mile. Edly's strongest placements were in the early splits within his gender and division. Working on maintaining consistent pacing in later miles could improve future performances. Overall, participation as part of "Unlisted Run Club" provides a supportive environment for improvement.
