Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Leiana Jagolino maintained a remarkably consistent pace in the 2025 Phoenix Marathon Half Marathon, demonstrating a stable, well-distributed effort throughout the race. Starting with an 8:39 min/mile pace in the first mile, Leiana quickly increased her speed, averaging 8:08 min/mile by mile 4 and sustaining a strong pace for the majority of the race. Impressively, she pushed through mile 3 with a 7:53 min/mile pace, showcasing her potential for speed bursts when needed. Midway to the race's end, Leiana displayed admirable stamina and composure. She finished with an overall time of 1:46:48, achieving an average pace of 8:09 min/mile. Notably, she excelled in the F40-44 division, reaching 4th at the 13th mile. Although a slight slowdown occurred at mile 11 with a 9:19 min/mile pace, her ability to recover and finish strong is commendable. Encouragement is directed toward maintaining consistent pacing in future events.
