Consistent Start with Opportunities to Refine Endurance Nathan Seago maintained a steady pace throughout the 2025 Phoenix Marathon half marathon, demonstrating an initial promise with each mile. His early mile splits were consistent, starting with 9:23 min/mile and settling into a rhythm between 9:20 to 9:30 min/mile over the first nine miles. Notably, Nathan's third mile was his fastest, clocking in at an 8:50 min/mile split time, which indicates a capability for speed that could be beneficial in future races. Towards the latter half of the race, Nathan experienced some slowdown, with his splits peaking at 11:32 and 12:32 min/mile between miles ten and eleven. This resulted in an overall finish time of 2:12:55 and an average pace of 10:08 min/mile. Placing 1192 overall and 707 among males, Nathan's performance in the M30-34 division was 129th. Continuing to build endurance for faster finishes could help improve his end-of-race resilience. Great participation from the Phoenix Catholic Run Club!
