Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Tony's performance in the 2025 Phoenix Marathon 10K showcased consistent pacing with a commendable finish. With an overall time of 1:20:06 and an average pace of 12:55 min/mile, Tony placed 8th in his M70-74 division and 494th in the male category. His split times demonstrate a steady improvement, particularly noteworthy is the strong final mile where he achieved his fastest pace of 12:13 min/mile, jumping to 2nd place in his division for that segment. The attention to pacing in the initial stages, such as the improvement from 13:15 min/mile to 12:21 min/mile by the third mile, reflects the effective control of energy and strategy. Tony maintained a consistent placement, finishing strong among 1,840 participants.
