Consistent Effort with Strong Finish! Nicole Soriano of Gilbert, AZ, delivered a consistent performance at the 2025 Phoenix Marathon 10K. She maintained a steady pace throughout the race with a notable personal best on her first mile at 9:23 min/mile. Her efforts placed her 18th in her division, F35-39, among 1840 participants. Nicole's overall pace of 9:46 min/mile highlights her ability to keep a uniform speed across the race, especially impressive given her strong finish in the final mile clocked at 9:14 min/mile. Opportunities for improvement exist in the middle segments, where her pace slightly decreased. The fourth and fifth miles were the slowest at 10:08 and 10:54 min/mile, respectively. As a coach, I encourage you to focus on maintaining the momentum gained from the first two miles into these later segments.
