Starting strong with a first-mile split of 11:22, her subsequent miles showed a steady performance, even as the race continued. She managed an impressive 10:33 split at mile 4, marking her fastest pace during the race. Throughout the event, she maintained a position within a tight range, with fluctuations in overall and gender placement highlighting a solid effort against a large field of competitors. However, from mile 6, her pace slightly increased, peaking at mile 11 with a 19:39 split. This is an area to target in future training, aiming to sustain earlier paces in later stages. Despite these challenges, Lien finished with an elapsed time of 2:57:15, placing 84th in her division. As a member of the "Crazy Folks" team, her strong start and consistent pacing are commendable and provide a solid foundation for future improvements.
