Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Cole Stocks demonstrated remarkable consistency and strength across the splits during the 2025 Phoenix Marathon's Half Marathon event. Starting with a 9:22 min/mile pace in the first mile, Cole progressively increased his speed, finishing with an impressive 7:47 min/mile in mile 13. Notably, he achieved his fastest split in mile 9, clocking in at 7:04 min/mile, maintaining an overall average of 8:04 min/mile. His steady pace led to a significant improvement in placement, moving from 810th overall at the first mile to 289th by the end. Cole finished the race with a total time of 1:45:49, ranking 28th in his division (M19-24) out of all participants. His strategy of accelerating through the middle and maintaining a strong pace, particularly between miles 5 and 9, contributed to his solid performance. For future races, refining the pacing strategy in the later stages could yield even stronger overall results.
