Consistent Race Execution with Strong Finish Theodore Havener completed the 2025 Phoenix Marathon with an overall elapsed time of 3:33:02, maintaining a steady pace of 8:07 per mile. Throughout the race, his split times notably exhibited consistency, with a slight increase in pace during specific segments that contributed positively to his performance. Particularly, splits 4 and 23 displayed strong efforts with paces of 7:44 min/mile. Despite a slower split on mile 24 at 9:32 min/mile, Theodore regained his overall pace to finish efficiently. Moving among a total of 2712 participants, Theodore achieved a placement of 369th overall and 80th in his division (M25-29). A consistent pacing strategy in the latter stages of the marathon helped him improve his position, especially prominent in the final three miles. For future races, focusing on maintaining second-half pacing could further enhance his competitive performance, helping optimize his relative position within the male and division categories.
