Consistent Improvement Across the Course Bob Rollar delivered a steady performance at the 2025 Phoenix Marathon Half Marathon, achieving an overall time of 2:55:47 and maintaining an average pace of 13:25 minutes per mile. A notable highlight was Bob's ability to improve his placements throughout various segments. Starting with a pace of 13:30 in the first mile, he impressively picked up speed in multiple sections, such as achieving a sub-13:00 pace during mile 9 with a time of 12:42. Bob's determination showed particularly in mile 4 where he improved his pace significantly to 12:51, gaining 48 positions overall. Throughout the half marathon, Bob remained consistent, placing 1035th in his gender category and 113th in the M40-44 division out of 2723 participants. There is a slight opportunity for increased pacing consistency in the latter miles, specifically during mile 11 where the pace increased slightly to 14:19.
