Strong Finish with Consistent Split Improvements Sean Lahann participated in the 2025 Phoenix Marathon, completing the half marathon distance of 13.1 miles. He finished with a time of 2:47:18, averaging a pace of 12:46 minutes per mile. Throughout the race, Sean demonstrated notable strength by improving his split times and position over several intervals. Starting with a split pace of 11:38 min/mile in the first mile, he experienced slower paces mid-race but remarkably picked up speed and reduced his split times towards the conclusion. A closer look at Sean's performance shows that his pacing improved between miles 5 and 9, where he consistently managed to lower his split times, achieving a best split pace of 12:07 min/mile at mile 9. Although some splits showed a slight delay, such as mile 3, Seans overall progression resulted in a steady placement within his division, finishing at 91st among male participants aged 45-49. Continuing to work on pacing consistency could yield even better results in future races.
