Noteworthy was the acceleration from the 8th mile onwards, highlighted by a remarkable split of 9:18 in the final mile. This split was the fastest segment, indicating increased speed and endurance toward the end, culminating in an overall pace of 11:13 min/mile. In terms of placement, Chris demonstrated resilience, improving his position as the race progressed.
