Strong Finish with a Personal Best Split Judith Bufford's performance at the 2025 Phoenix Marathon 10K showcased some impressive pacing strategies. Starting off with a more conservative pace of 21:10 min/mile, she strategically improved her pace throughout the race. Particularly noteworthy was her last mile, completed in a strong 17:53 min/mile pace. This final push dramatically improved her positioning, moving her up to 16th in her F55-59 division and 227th in her gender category overall. Covering the entire 10K in 2:01:38, Judith maintained an average pace of 19:37 min/mile. Her ability to gradually reduce mile pace times shows a commendable sense of race execution and energy management.
