Consistent Pace Secures Podium Finish in Division Christine Meldrum of the AMP RUN TEAM maintained a steady pace throughout the 2025 Phoenix Marathon Half Marathon, showcasing her consistent running prowess. Her overall time was 1:48:25, covering 13.1 miles at an average pace of 8:16 min/mile. Notably, Christine's strongest segment came between miles 4 and 5, recording a fast split time of 7:55 min/mile. This performance highlights her ability to push her limits mid-race, contributing significantly to her impressive finish. Christine secured 2nd place in the Female 55-59 division. Despite a slight drop in pace at mile 11 with a split of 9:37 min/mile, she managed to regain momentum and maintain her divisional position. Ending with a strong finish, her efforts placed her 115th among females and 342nd overall among a total of 2,723 participants. For future races, finding strategies to counter late-race fatigue could help maintain and even improve on this excellent performance.
