Consistent Surge in the 10K Kelsey delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Phoenix Marathon, achieving an overall time of 55:57 for the 10K race with an average pace of 9:01 min/mile. She maintained notable consistency in her pacing throughout the race, with her most impressive mile split at the 6th mile, clocking in at 8:33 min/mile. This consistency contributed to her finishing as the 12th in her age division (F35-39), amidst 1,840 participants. Her strategic pacing was evident from the start; she managed to improve her position from 270th overall at the first mile, steadily moving to 232nd by her third mile. Kelsey sustained a balanced pace across the middle miles, with the 3rd and 4th miles showing only slight variations, at 8:51 and 8:49 min/mile respectively. A brief slowdown occurred during mile 5 with the split pace of 10:07 but she responded strongly with a surge in the final stretch. Keep honing those last few miles, as they saw the most variation in pace. Great job representing Team Sole Sisters!
