Strong Start with a Focused Finish Carrie Roepke, representing AMP RUN TEAM, clocked an impressive finish time of 1:54:15 in the 2025 Phoenix Marathon Half Marathon. She maintained a consistent average pace of 8:43 min/mile throughout the 13.1 miles. Notably, Carrie was a standout in her age division, F50-54, finishing 2nd in the last mile and 11th overall in her division. She started strong with her fastest mile at the start with a pace of 8:12 min/mile and finished with a stronger push at the end, covering the final mile with a 7:57 min/mile pace. Throughout the race, Carrie showed her ability to maintain near-consistent splits particularly in the earlier miles. While her pace slightly decreased in the middle section, she demonstrated resilience by recovering and picking up speed in the closing miles. Focusing on maintaining consistent pacing through the mid-race miles could enhance future performances. Overall, Carrie displayed great stamina and strong finishing power.
