Consistent Progress with Opportunities for Pacing Adjustment Jill McAlister demonstrated steady performance throughout the 2025 Phoenix Marathon Half Marathon, completing 13.1 miles with an elapsed time of 2:26:50 and an average pace of 11:12 min/mile. A member of the AMP RUN TEAM, she started with a pace of 10:53 min/mile, gradually improving up to mile 5 where her pace stabilized around the 10:36 min/mile mark. Her strategic approach saw her placing 91st in the F40-44 division out of more than 2,700 participants. Jill achieved notable gains in her division position between mile 2 and mile 5, where she moved up to 80th place. Although her pace slowed over the latter stages, notably a 13:29 min/mile during the 10th mile, she regained some speed, finishing the remaining miles with a more consistent pace. To enhance future performances, focusing on maintaining pace consistency in the latter miles could yield improvements in results.
